Today I feel like me again...well mostly, lets just say I'm feeling better. So we headed to Zillah for the day with Shanell, Shanell's mom Renae', and the girls, plus her niece Kendall. We headed to her Aunt and Uncles house where they have horses the girls could ride.
We arrived around 11 and the girls got to feed, brush, and pet a very pregnant horse (she's due the end of July). They loved that they could see the baby move and feel the colt kick back, it was so crazy, I myself have never felt one either, it was fun.
Then we all had lunch (thank you to Carole and Renae) and headed back out for Shanell's cousin Rylee to give the girls rides on Jake. He was a great horse very patient and very photogenic. All the girls got on and rode, even the twins against their better judgment.
It was a fun day spent with friends, out of the Tri-Cities for a change, and something fun for the kids to do. It was great and very appreciated.
(sidenote: while there Shanell started feeling sick throat hurting etc..she went to the doctor when she got home and she now has strep, which is funny we havent been together for a week, get better soon).
