Today we had a service project for church to clean up the side of a road/park/reserve area, not sure what you would call it. So I went a head and volunteered us to help. I want my kids to be able to appreciate all that they have and that everything we have in this life is worked for, plus I want them to have a sense of accomplishment and service for and to others. I want them to be well rounded individuals. I want to start young enough so that hopefully...eventually, they'll get it. Surprisingly they did well. Carys acted just like a girl and didn't want to get dirty, and Jocelyn mostly supervised, I had Eben strapped to me so I couldn't bend over for the fear he would fall out, so I held the bags up...lol...Avery however was a real trooper, I was very surprised and happy for her energy and willingness to help. If anyone could get it, I wanted it to be her. Aaron was going to come but ended up having to work a different shift at work so it was just us. We had fun, and afterward we went and got slurpees at good ole' 7-eleven

Thank you for going and glad you had a good experence. I am using some of your pictures for the newsletter since I wasn't able to be there.
That is great you did that, we have our ward clean-up coming up on May 2nd, Matt says he doesn't want to go so I may just take Kendall she can truly appreciate it all :) I am going to follow you now so I check in more often :)
Your kids are growing up way too quickly...I think you need to make a trip to Utah to see your relatives!!!
ps...I love the picture at the top of your blog.
