Happy Easter!

Today marks Easter, what a great day to celebrate. We had such a lovely day. We had such a nice day at church, my husband actually got to come after 2 months of MIA. It was so nice to be sitting next to him in Sunday School. The kids looked great, thanks to good ole' sponge curlers...lol...good times. Anyway, we took pictures before church which was nice, except Carys started in a mood...pfft...oh well they still looked great. After church we watched a new movie that the "Easter Bunny" brought them, then we hid the eggs in the house because it was raining out so we decided to do it inside before we left for Grandma Nana's and Papa's house. They loved it. They had fun finding them. They are so great and so much fun. Don't get me wrong my kids of course have their moments...(gasp) but for the most part they are great. It was nice to see them so happy. After we changed our clothes we were off to Grandma's house for some good food and great company. We got to my parents home and ate an "unconventional" Easter dinner, but was super delicious. After dinner the kids played and the adults looked through photo albums...it started with Christopher my nephew who is almost 18, he is such a sweet guy, anyway he wanted to see pictures of himself (what an ego problem...lol) so we started pulling out more, it was so much fun to look at all the pictures of family and see old hair styles, and how "cute" we used to be...lol...we all had fun. We ate yummy dessert and enjoyed chatting and laughing. We all retired early for the evening do to school, homework, and tired kids, but in all, it was a great Easter Sunday spent with the ones I love (most everyone I love). We missed so many that couldn't make it, I hope they know how missed they were and next time perhaps they can join us.
