Reflections

Well its that time again? I am pretty much done shopping...just a few last minute details that we must not forget. I'm excited to spend time with family and enjoy their company. I'm excited to watch the kids' faces when they come down stairs on Christmas day. I love the anticipation. I love being with them all. I'm excited that I have these memories, and that I get to have more. I have so much to be thankful for this year.

I cant help but reflect on the last year and the last several months all that has happened and all that is going to happen. I have great faith in the promise of tomorrow, I have great faith in repentance, I have great faith in the power of prayer, I have great faith in forgiveness, I have great faith in love, I have great faith in my covenants, and I have great faith in family.

I am excited for the changes that are going on in the four walls of my home, I am excited about the progress that we as a couple are making, and I'm excited that everyone deserves a second chance.

I'm so thankful for this time of year to remember and reflect on the birth of our Savior, for his atoning sacrifice. I'm so thankful for all of the many blessings that I have been given. I'm so thankful for my husband for the love that we share, I'm so thankful that I have four healthy kids that I love and adore, I'm so thankful for parents, for in laws, and extended family that love and support us, and I'm so thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for my temple recommend and for the opportunity that I have to receive the eternal blessings that are promised in his temple.

My only wish is that we will remember the gifts that we have been given this year...not the possessions, but the real and true gifts. I hope that we all remember his birth. I wish you all well, and a very Merry Christmas, with much happiness and much love. Enjoy your family and friends, take a moment and breath them in. Enjoy every second that you have together, I know I will be. Happy Holidays!!!

A beautiful and sweetly expressed testimony. I could tell you have given it a lot of thought, and mean every word of it. You will be blessed abundantly as you live the gospel and share that with Aaron so that together, you can continue to set a good example for your children. They are so sweet and delightful.

About Me

I am a happy reader...Im such a sucker for a good book. I get lost, and I become one with the story, its my greatest outlet. I needed somewhere to express and vent my feelings about how I felt about my books I was reading and this is where my blog was born.
