So yesterday I was minding my own business when there was a knock at the door, it was my sister Carey. She brought me my "medal" so to speak from my previous post about sick kids and getting a medal for all that we do for them, to me I wrote it in a rant on my blog...to her it was something she felt she wanted to do for us. Not only did I get a "medal" I got a Pepsi which is a medal all in itself..lol..and a balloon. She also brought the sicky Carys a balloon, coloring book, crayons, lip gloss, suckers, smarties, and a pop, plus one of those for the other two girls.
She made OUR day. Seriously. I was still in my G's when she came recovering from many nights of lost sleep feeling so tired and blah...wondering when I can get out of the house and Carys, I know shes gotta be feeling cabin fever too. Then she shows up with all that stuff. I felt so emotional. I know silly, but truly I was, I thought however if I cried I would look like a Sally so I sucked it up and pulled myself together, however thinking the whole time how much that it meant to me. So thank you!

Aren't sisters just the greatest. I wish mine lived closer. Hope you're all feeling better. Love ya!
Sometimes we just need to remember other mommies have or are going through the same things we are. We all need to pull together and support eachother. Especially sisters. I am sure if Heather was here she would have beat me to it. lol
Our sister ROCKS!! If I were there we would have come together!! :)
