Have you met my sister Heather?

So I have a problem that perhaps you all can help me with...please? I had a post previous to this one about special memories that I have and people I remember at those times that trigger those great memories, however I forgot about someone very special...well I'm sure lots of people, but one who I know deserves some great credit. I have a sister, well no I have two sisters but I have one in particular that lives some thousand miles away in Rifle Colorado with her family. I think sometimes she thinks I forget about her. What she doesn't realize though is that my best memories are with her in it, and if she hasn't been here she has been my biggest cheerleader..literally.

I can call her any time of the day, a couple times a week a month whatever, and when she answers the phone she acts like we haven't spoken in months. She is the most excited when I tell her things going on, she is the best advice giver, she is the best listener, she is the most proud of her siblings and family, and when shes happy for you even though you cant see her you can feel her smile warm you.

When I think of the ocean and family trips I think of one that always makes me smile and laugh, she was a riot. I wont go into all the funny things she did, I don't want to embarrass her but she was so great. We both worked for Pasco School District before she moved and we would constantly send mail through the district to each other and I loved to come to work to see what she had sent me, I would go over to her house after work while Aaron was working and we would watch Days of our Lives together and do crafts, and we would chat it up.

Heather is an incredible Mommy..she dotes on her daughters Raychel and Jolene. She is always doing whatever she can for them. She is the most organized person I know. She has served a mission, been her husbands friend, her kids' Mother, and her sister's keeper. She is fabulous. Perhaps she wasn't there when I had my children, but she was there when I was married, she was a great support and example when Aaron and I went through the temple. She always knows what to say and make things better, and she is a GREAT COOK...she tries new recipes all the time which is something I wish I would do and try more often.

She is also the bravest person I know, moving 1000 miles away from her family and Ward's to venture into a new career with her husband with their first child in hand to start over so to speak. She embraced it like a champ and has loved it. She has the greatest friends in Colorado and has made it her home, and still smiling when I'm sure it is so hard being away at times especially Holidays. She is such an amazing Sister and Friend. Ive been very fortunate to have two sisters in my life who are my biggest cheerleaders. I'm eternally grateful for them.
