D.C. Here I come!!!

So this week I leave for one week ALL by MYSELF for D.C. I have so many mixed feelings. Ive never vacationed alone before. Im so happy and still so surprised that Lis, Stacey, Aaron, my Mom, and father in-law did all this for me. They made all the arrangements for me, for the kids, Aaron took the time off, my Mom is taking them for the first couple days while Aaron has to work, everyone pitched in and bought my ticket. I truly have such great family. :) I am so happy to be going. It is somewhere I would probably never go to if they didn't live there, but I really feel like I should take advantage of this. I am super excited to go see my sweet family...Lis, Bobby, Tyson, Stacey, and my little twinlets, Hallie and Micah. Scream yay! I cant wait to see them and spend time with them, and laugh like I haven't laughed in along time.
I also know that I am gonna miss 4 little kidlets here and my sweet hubby. However I try to tell myself that it is going to be fine, they are in good hands and they are going to have lots of fun with their Grandma and their Dad. A break from me isn't the worst thing ever, right?
I have so much to do and probably not enough time to do it in. We will get it done I'm sure though. Wish me luck! :)

I'm SO excited for you! In addition to wonderful family there are incredible Art Museums, The Smithsonian, Air and Space Museum--had to put that one in for my boys, the National Museum of American History- where you can see the first ladies' dresses, the Library of Congress is massive..., Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument...oh, the fun you'll have! Don't worry one little bit about your darling kids and hubby...ENJOY the journey! Love you!

About Me

I am a happy reader...Im such a sucker for a good book. I get lost, and I become one with the story, its my greatest outlet. I needed somewhere to express and vent my feelings about how I felt about my books I was reading and this is where my blog was born.
