Ward Campout..good times!!!

So last Sunday a great friend of mine (Shanell) convinced me to go on the Ward Campout without my hubby. I thought well I can do it, it will be so fun. I convinced our other friend Sharon to go without her hubby and we had it set, until Shanell's family was hit with the evil FLU!! Our kids were so excited we couldn't disappoint them. We sent Sharon's 3 older boys with some other friends and loaded our kids up, first I had to say goodbye to one of mine. I left Eben with Aaron and my Mom for the first time since he was born almost a year ago. I was very weepy when I put him in my moms car seat, I knew he would be in good hands but I was just sad that I had to leave him. I already missed him.
We headed to Teacum Timbers, we had such a nice time. The girls LOVED it. We had a great camp site right by the creek, the kids swam, they hiked, Avery played Volley Ball with the big kids, we had smores, Uncle Rick caught a snake, their cousin Dennis found fun creatures in the creek, a camp fire, sleeping in a tent, amazing scenery, gorgeous weather, and great people and friends to share it with. I had so much fun and I am so glad I went with the girls. Before we left Avery pulled me aside and said just in case I forget to tell you, I really appreciate you taking us and I love you. That made it all worth it. I love camping its one of my favorite childhood memories, I hope that my girls and when Eben can walk he too can start coming with us and we too can make memories like we did when we were younger.
