What an experience.  We had such an incredible, spiritual, and uplifting time.  I was blessed to be able to go, to share this with my dear friend, with my awesome MIL, and be able to receive the blessings from going.  I loved every minute I was there.  The speakers and musical performances were so great.  I would highly recommend any of their books and cds.  I have alot of the music and alot of the books.  GREAT reads and listens.
Here are a few of my favorite quotes/thoughts/things I just thought were important.

-Weather the storm, love your children, tell them often, they will in then come home.

-Appreciate all things in each other, write them down and let them know often (spouse)

-Paradise lies at the feet of the Mother

-When you talk sweetly about the dead, you raise them up to higher places

-Be the keeper of your home

-De clutter our life

-Blaze your own trail

I was emotional the whole weekend.  Not because I was sad, but because the spirit was so strong, the speakers were so great, and it was exactly what I needed.  We ate at the Cheesecake Factory right there in downtown, it was soooo good.  My hubby was proud of me when I told him I actually tried something different.  It was yummy, and the atmosphere was fun.  :)
I was excited to go home and see my crew, and my sweet love for taking care of the home front.  It was great to know that they were all loved, and taken care of.  I have a great life, with great kids and an amazing and wonderful husband.  My testimony of the Gospel continues to grow daily...over that weekend it grew leaps and bounds.  I'm lucky to belong to this wonderful church, to have a Heavenly Father that continues to teach me, prepare me, love me, and watch over me.

About Me

I am a happy reader...Im such a sucker for a good book. I get lost, and I become one with the story, its my greatest outlet. I needed somewhere to express and vent my feelings about how I felt about my books I was reading and this is where my blog was born.
