Baby Mine...

My Sweet Baby,

I wanted to write you and let you know how very special you are to me. I am elated to add another baby to our ever growing family. You were so prayerfully considered, especially by me, but I knew that my Heavenly Father knew what and why you needed to come to our family.

Sometimes, what we think may have been too quickly decided or we start to question the timing , I remember that even though you are coming faster than we thought, and at the time a very emotional and hard time, I feel in my heart that it was for the best. I have never been more certain.

You are going to join a wild bunch, however a bunch that will love you like crazy. You will have the warmest arms that will hold you and kiss you constantly, at times you'll want to scream, and yell, and other times you will melt with love. Avery will be your defender, protector, and will spoil you with holding you as much as she can, Carys will be your second Mommy, she will love you madly and deeply, she will smother you with kisses and hugs, Jocelyn will be your biggest fan, boss you around, tell you what you can and cant do, and love you like her favorite doll, Eben will simply be jealous of you, wanting me, but he will one day be your fun loving brother...if you should be a boy I hope the two of you are the best of friends, if you are a girl, I know that he will be your biggest support. Embrace your siblings, know of their great love for each other and for you. Adding you is just a bonus.

I'm so excited again, to see a perfect mix of my sweet love and myself. I look forward to watching you grow, and discovering your personality, holding you and loving you. You may be the last of our family...which makes me so excited even more to meet you, and then a little sad that you cant be someone else's mentor...you are such a great blessing of love to our family, which may end up completing it.

Please know just cause you are #5 that you are just as important to me and your Dad as all your other siblings are. My feelings when I find out are the same every time. Utter amazement, excitement, anticipation, extreme and profound and deep love for someone Ive never met. Feeling like Ive just received the greatest gift...nothing compares to that feeling, except the moment when we meet.

I look forward to knowing you, to being your Mom and having the privilege of raising you. Please know how excited we are!
