Id like to take a moment....

So bear with me for a second...I know I am LDS, but I am also a Christian, so I found this site of a Christian singer from the group Selah, I love them, but I fell in love with his wife's blog, its over to the left under Selah, I got started reading it because a little while ago they lost their 4th daughter shortly after birth so she has used her blog as a journal and healing, I love it, I don't know why but I do. Anyway, her husband, her, and his band mates wrote a song for this child its incredible. I hope you will take a minute and listen to it and/or read some of her blogs, obviously she is going through something so painful there is so much I get out of it, and so much that pertains to just everyday things that we overlook or forget about, or that we take for granted. Anyway, check out the blog and check out the song its on the Selah website you can find it at http://www.myspace.com/selahonline
the song for the baby is the one with the play arrow in the box, its amazing!
Just humor me please and let me know what you think.

BOY OH BOY!!

So today I went to the Doctor to see how my little man is doing...well let's just say he's bigger...we had another ultrasound and he's pushing 5 pounds already..I know the hunk of chunk, so the Doctor said that he is going to check my glucose again in 4 weeks to make sure that there is no diabetes even though the last test said that I didn't, he just wants to double check it again...oh joy! So in two weeks I go back, and in four weeks I have another ultrasound to see where we are at then, he does know that he will be taking him for sure two weeks early if not sooner, he said we'll just have to see where he's at.
So needless to say, you know as much as I do at this point. Hopefully he doesn't pop out to be 10 pounds..ugh...not fun! I can handle another 8 pounder but he swears he'll be bigger than that for sure....scream yeah for me!
Hope everyone is doing great. Enjoy the summer weather and stay cool.

Kindergarten is great!!

So here is Avery's Kindergarten Program, it was so great. They sang adorable and fun songs she did so good. She is a natural performer...she was bummed that it was just me, because her sister's were home sick with Dad. However to our great surprise in comes Hallie and Micah in their stroller with Aunt Stacey...it made her night. So thanks Aunt Stacey for coming.

Graduation Day!!!

Here is my adorable little graduate from Preschool. She was so proud of herself, and who could blame her. We had fun they got there to find a bounce house and lots of yummy goodies, then shortly thereafter they had a fast ceremony with songs included, it was very nice, a little chilly but a great day for Carys!

Tomorrow will get better, right?

So today was a busy day to say the least...first let me back up...on Sunday somehow I don't know how, I pulled/hurt my sciatic nerve, it hurt but was bearable, however that all changed yesterday. It became unbearable it was horrible, I could barely walk and couldn't go up and down the stairs...ugh...so this morning Aaron my saint of a husband had to miss his clinical at the hospital because I was in so much pain and he knew I couldn't take care of three kids plus myself, so he became my new HERO...today we had Carys' Preschool Graduation which was adorable and so fun, I will add pictures as soon as I download them, we came home and I resumed permanent resident on the couch. Today though with Jocelyn with double ear infections, and then Avery coming home with a headache, and then Carys spiking a fever we new it was a long night ahead. Avery eventually felt some what better and we (her and I) headed off to her Kindergarten Program at the school, she was pretty disappointed no body else could come until her Aunt Stacey showed up with her two favorite little people Hallie and Micah her 6 month old cousins, she was very surprised and happy. She did a great job performing and looked so cute and grown up, I cant believe very soon I will have a 1st grader...I know crazy!! I will add those pictures as well. We ended the night with Carys running a fever and Avery spiking one, and Jocelyn just needing some TLC. I am feeling somewhat normal, as normal as one can feel I guess...but I am resting as much as possible and trying to remember things could be worse. So here's to another day at the Moses Home, hopefully tomorrow we will be all better and feeling more like ourselves...

HERE"S TO GREAT NEWS!!

So today we got the best news ever...Aaron's cousin Lis called and said she is coming to visit, and yes it's official, she even sent me proof of the plane ticket...lol...she comes July 22nd-27th we are so excited to finally have her come visit. She lived with us for awhile, but now she is happily married to a great guy who is giving us visitation rights..lol..(shout out to Bobby).

Aaron and I couldn't be happier, well unless you threw my sister Heather on that flight then that would be the bestest news ever, but hey this is good too!

We love her and have the best fun with her. I told her though that she is either coming to enjoy the best thing, childbirth, or hes already here, or gonna come. Not sure, either way she will love it I'm sure...just wanted to share our news with everyone. Enjoy!

May Birthdays are still the BEST!

Happy Birthday Katie! Today is my sister in-laws birthday. I have to give her a shout out, after all she did choose one of those great guys...my brother. So to her, I hope she has an awesome day. Enjoy!

Catch you up...

Sorry I have been slacking....I will let you know what has been going on. Friday was a nice day, nothing too exciting, just nice, we had a nice little lunch with Aaron, we got Avery some cute new sandals, washed the car, and came home to let the girls run through the sprinklers, they had a blast. We were out there for forever. It was a gorgeous day.
On Saturday we did a few errands and then went to see an old friend of mine who was in town, my great friend Sara Beckstead (Resseman) her daughter Laurens birthday was Saturday so they were having cake and ice cream at her parents house. It was great to catch up with her and spend time with her family, whom I have come to love. The kids had a great time playing and having fun while the adults visited.
On Sunday I was tired and cranky, but I wasn't the one who got the nap, Jocelyn fell asleep before church so Aaron took the two older girls until Jocie woke up. She did shortly after 2:00 plenty of time to go to the last two hours of church, except Aaron my love took both sets of keys to both cars. So we stayed home. We spent time together watching Open Season which I love. The girls and I spent the rest of the afternoon making cards for various occasions for fun. We had fun. We had a barbecue again, which was so yummy. I then spent the rest of the evening making more cards, alone, which was fun. All in all it was a nice weekend, very relaxing. Hope every ones was great too. Enjoy your week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

So today is the day, I am officially 30 years old. I find myself thinking of this way more than I should, wondering do I feel different, the truth is, I kind of do. I stop and find myself thinking I will be referring to my past as "When I was in my 20's" it sounds so long ago. I think of all the things that I haven't accomplished that I wish I had before I turned 30 and wonder, did I waste time, did I goof off? What have I really done with my life and have I done anything I said I wanted to do? The truth is no I haven't done everything I wanted to do in my life, and realize that's ok, because my life isn't over, in many ways its just beginning, or we're on the next chapter of it, which is always ok, I love reading a book and I cant wait to get to the next page, the next chapter of what is to come, what I may find in my reading, and I get very excited, very nervous and anxious, so this is good, I don't know what is to come for me and this next chapter that is to come, perhaps Ill make it up as I go, and perhaps I will put deep thought into my happenings and my future and make some changes and spice it up. One thing is for sure, this baby will come out one way or another, he will make his entrance and make his appearance into this crazy and hectic world to find two people who are deeply in love with 3 gorgeous sisters that are going to spoil him, and drive him crazy all at once, my only hope is that we will provide him some safety, unconditional love and a place to call his home and his family.
So today, I will not do anything too great or wonderful, I will take my kids to school and pick them up and spend the day loving on them, making their meals and letting them know how very precious each one is to me, I won't cure cancer, I won't climb Mt Everest and chances are I won't rescue someone from a burning building, but today and for the rest of my life I will know I was loved far deeper than I ever thought possibly, I will have loved far more than I thought my heart can handle and I will know that I have what so many others lack or haven't found, and that simply is the gospel of Jesus Christ and for that I am truly blessed.

Today when I checked my sisters blog my heart was so touched by what she did on her blog for my birthday...it meant the world to me, the girls were standing beside me and Aaron standing behind me looking at these pictures and the sweet words that were written, it truly made my day, not too mention, I was so grateful to have my kids see how much my sister loves me and I love her, and that the relationship we have is so important, as is their relationship with each other. Thank you, thank you for including me on your post and remembering me. If you want to see some cute pictures check them out at www.ourpages95.blogspot.com
I hope you all have a great day...I know I will.

5 Things Im Thankful For:

1. time
2. watching greys anatomy...love it....
3. peanut butter m&m's
4. great cards in the mail
5. Patrick Dempsey

Ok yep, that about does it...how about you?
I received this great card from my sister in Colorado today that made my day, but I especially liked the saying that was in it...

a friend
is someone who knows the song
in your heart,
and can sing it back to you
when you have forgotten the words

I loved that isn't that so true. Its even better when you have a sister you can share that with. Thanks Heather...love you.

Hope everyone has a great day and remembers to sing a tune because you never know who's listening...hmm.
