One, Two, Three, and Four

So we are getting into the groove of having FOUR kids. Things are slowly coming together. Eben is a sweetheart, he is however very spoiled, not by me, by Avery. I let him cry and she freaks out, she will pick him up where ever he is and hold him, she gets into trouble because shes going back to school next week and I will be left to deal with him. She doesn't care, I tell her when he cries and she picks him up what happens? Her reply, he stops...exactly. I told her if there was something seriously wrong with him he would still cry but he knows what hes doing, she says but mom hes only a baby he doesn't understand....lol....silly child if only she knew how they work and how darn smart kids even babies are.

We will get it under control eventually! Aaron is enjoying no school right now until September and I am enjoying the fact that Avery goes back to school next week...lol! All in all we are good and enjoying our summer of fun, here's some pictures, enjoy!

Hair comes and it goes....but in the end its just hair...

So Avery and Carys decided that they wanted to cut their hair off like their cousin Adrianna. Well we did it, but just gave them there own style. Avery got an A-Line kind of haircut, its shorter in back and longer in front, its totally cute and looks great on her. Carys got several inches cut off and it flips up, she looks very cute and it looks so much healthier. Carys' hair is so fine and long it needed some umph. They love it, we love it and I think that's all that matters right?

First Day of Swim Lessons!

Here is Jocelyn doing her swim lessons for the first time. Avery goes first, then Carys and then of course Jocelyn. They all did great. Jocelyn had a rough time at first but today she did much better, it will just take a few more times before she gets the hang of it. They are all so cute though!

Happy 4th of July!

The 4th of July was great we had so much fun. We made yummy food and yummy festive drinks and headed to some friends of ours Becky and Alan Petersen's house for the festivities. They have 4 daughters. We had great food, and lots of it, great conversation, and plenty for the kids to do. They had fun playing in the water and just enjoying the afternoon/evening. Aaron's brothers Ethan, Eli, and Ira joined us for awhile and then headed to a movie. It was fun. We lit off fireworks and had quite a show. It was a fun celebration. Hope everyones was just as fun!

Havent I learned my lesson yet?

So here I am, thirty years old, don't you think I would of learned my lesson by now? Nope, I guess not. On Thursday the girls and I headed over to see my friend Misty who's in town from Texas at her parents house, they have a pool so we all went swimming. It was nice, I lathered the girls up, good mommy. Rather than take 2 minutes to do myself I thought I would be ok. Not so! I got home and was burnt. Stupid girl!! I hurt so bad the first two days and then yesterday Saturday morning I got home from work at 4:00 a.m. and couldn't go to sleep I was itching so bad, and that began my day! Literally, I itched like crazy, I had the girls rubbing Aloe Vera on me every 45 minutes that would relieve it for a little bit and then it started all over. Ugh!@$# So we went to get medicine from Rite Aid and ended up at my Mom's house hoping to distract myself, it got better so my Mom sent me to bed for a nice nap, what a good Mommy! When we got home though, it instantly started again. I was miserable. I took some Benadryl and I took a VERY LONG COLD shower for forever, when I got out, I put a very light night gown on and felt so much better, I was so tired and went to bed after watching a classic 80's flick, Back to the Future...lol and slept like a baby. Today, so far so good! Wish me well.
The truth is even at 30 I still haven't learned everything I think I should have. Sometimes I to still think I know better, or that I will be ok, and that isn't the case, my best advice, do whatever you don't want to do at the time, because as I have found, even though it seems like a nuisance it usually benefits you in the long run. What could have take seconds, minutes of my time, could have saved me days of anguish!!

Who's the Best sister in Colorado?

So my great sister in Colorado sent me this amazing package today for the baby boy. It was full of great things. I loved everything, she of course went over board which I appreciated...lol...but still it was so great of her to get all those things for him. He will of course look amazing in them, because after all he's my kid! So thank you Heather, Raychel, and Jolene it was so thoughtful, and he has a great wardrobe thanks to all of your contributions! I love you all and miss you and wish you could be here. Thanks again! By the way she made me write this post and make sure I thanked her over and over again...did I do ok? LOL....totally kidding. Love you all!

Friends are so important!

My great friend from Texas who used to live here was in town so we spent the afternoon with her and her family. She has three adorable kids. Collin, Trinity who was born on the exact same day as Avery she's actually 8 hours older, and then there is Paige. We had a lot of fun visiting and swimming with them, you can see my hussie friend Misty...looking hot as ever...lol...anyway, it was so great to see her, we will miss her so much.

MY BABY!!

Jocelyn and Carys were outside in the front yard playing babies, well guess who's the baby? The older sister of course...Carys, she's sitting on Jocelyn's lap. It was hysterical. They were laughing so hard and thought it was so funny, I have to admit, it was pretty funny.

Shower me with Love:

So last night was my baby shower for this little hunk of chunk...and thank you to all those who came or brought gifts it was wonderful. Kim and April and those helping Mara and Karena did a great job everything turned out well. I got such beautiful things for him and so much to try on him. Who says he cant have a fashion show? I think its manly...lol...so thank you. It was great I had such a nice time.
I cant wait to see him and hold him, the anticipation is killing me, especially when you've never had that sex before..I know how my girls look but I don't know how he will look. I know patience is a virtue and I am very excited to see him.
Thank you again.
